Q: What types of massages does The Honey Bee Center offer?
A: We offer a wide range of massages at The Honey Bee Center, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, Polarity therapy, cupping, myofascial release and much more! Check out our Services Page! Our licensed massage therapists can work with you to determine the best massage for your needs.

Q: Where is The Honey Bee Center located?

A: We are based out of Portland, Maine, but our business is one that travels to you!

 

Q: This is my first time booking with The Honey Bee Center, what do I need to do?
A: If this is your first time booking with us, we ask that you schedule a short zoom call before completing your booking. During this call we will discuss location preferences, your health and bodywork history, and any price restrictions you may have. This will also give us a chance to get to know you!

Q: I completed my new client zoom screening or have booked with you before. What are the next steps I should take?

A: Please feel free to book any session with us! We look forward to working with you.

Q: What if I'm wanting more than one type of massage done in my session, or a session that is longer than 60 minutes?

A: We have customized massage packages! Visit our Plans & Pricing page to see options.

Q: I've selected a custom combination package, what happens next? 

A: Once booked, we will reach out to you to set up a short phone or zoom call. During this time we will create a game plan for a session that is customized to your needs! This plan will be discussed in person and changed as needed the day of your service

Q: Why am I only able to book on Tuesdays or Wednesdays on the website?

A: If you wish to book outside of our designated times, please visit arcanamaine.com or healmassageandtherapy.com to book with our therapist.

Common Questions about Massage

Q: What should I wear for my massage?
A: Wear comfortable clothing to your massage, and we recommend wearing something that is easy to take off and put back on after your massage. Feel free to dress down to your comfort level during the session. Our massage therapists will ensure that you are properly draped during the massage to ensure your comfort.
 

Q: Is tipping required?

A: Tips are always welcome at The Honey Bee Center! The industry standard typically starts at 15-20%, depending on the service.
